McQuerry Color Spirit Run
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe 3rd annual McQuerry Elementary PTO Bulldog Color Spirit Run was held on Saturday, September 10th from 9-11 a.m. at Dyer Park. Over 50 participants enjoyed the wonderful weather to run and walk and have colored powder thrown onto them. Also, if students brought a canned good they received a bag of powder to throw on Mr. Armstrong. Canned goods benefited the Helping Hands organization. Families and students paid a small entry fee and collected pledges. Students that collected $35 received a free Color Run T-shirt. Students that collected $75 in pledges will receive a limo ride and lunch at McDonald's. Classrooms that collected at least $400 will receive a party. All funds will go towards the McQuerry PTO and projects around the school. Recently the McQuerry PTO bought new Chromeboxes for one computer lab and new bulletin board paper racks for the building. A big thanks to all those who participated and to our wonderful PTO for hosting this event.
