Alec Maple Invited to Boeing TRU-Leaders Academy
OHS Student, Alec Maple, has been invited by Truman State University School of Business to participate in the Boeing TRU-Leaders Academy. The TRU-Leaders Academy consists of first-year students who have declared an accounting, business administration or computer science major. Candidates are identified as individuals with a potential for future success and who will benefit from advanced leadership experiences. The TRU-Leaders Academy is by invitation only with approximately 30-35 students being invited to participate. All materials and acitivites are free and subsidized by the Boeing Company.
As a member of the TRU-Leaders Academy, Alec will be involved in a program to prepare future professional and business leaders. Over the course of eight to ten weeks during the first semester at Truman, members of the TRU-Leaders Academy will participate in seminars and field trips designed to develop business and leadership skills. Alec will also have the opportunity to meet Boeing employees, managers and executives.
