Sean Morris selected as All-State Choir alternate!!!

Sean Morris, a senior at OHS, was selected to be a Missouri All-State Choir Bass (first alternate). This is a prestigious honor. All-State Choir members are chosen based on scores from two auditions. The first is the All-District Choir audition, the second is the All-State Choir audition. In the All-District audition, Sean prepared and performed a solo, "Come raggio di sol," by Antonio Caldara. Then he was tested on melodic and part-specific sight-reading. For the All-State audition, he was required to perform the Bass part to "Exultate Jubilate" by Ludovico Viadana. His score from the All-State audition was added to his score from the All-District audition. The top six combined scores for each voice part are chosen for the All-State Choir. This choir will perform at the Missouri Music Educator's Conference at Tan-Tar-A resort on Saturday, January 31st, 2015.
