INCLEMENT WEATHER

The Odessa R-VIISchool District offers the following methods to access information regarding school closings or cancellations.

1. Sign up for the Bulldog Alert.  Information will be texted to your cell phone as soon as it is available.  This is the fastest method of receiving school closing and cancellation information. To sign up for the Bulldog Alert or to update your information click BULLDOG ALERT.

2. Please check the scrolling banner at the top of the district web page. The scrolling banner will display information as it becomes available.

3. The following radio stations may be accessed for school closing information:

• KMZU - 100.7 FM   (Quickest broadcasting results)
• KOAL - 1430 AM  
• KRLI - 103.9 FM
• KMMO1300 AM  & 102.9 FM
• KOKO1450 AM
• KDKJ98.5 FM
• KMBZ98.0 AM

4. The KMBC metro media pool will also carry announcements regarding school closings. Since contacting television broadcasters can be delayed by busy phone lines, their announcements  may be broadcast after the announcement has already been made from the School District.
